Publishing a book is one thing – getting it in front of the right readers is another. Having spent years helping indie authors navigate the platforms, the pricing, the keywords, and the fine print, I know exactly what it takes to make a self-published book visible, competitive, and available in all the right places. Every package I offer reflects the process I’ve refined working with authors across South Africa and around the world.
If you’d like to know more about my background, you’re welcome to read more here.
If you’re an indie author looking to self-publish your book on platforms like Amazon, Draft2Digital, and IngramSpark, you’ve come to the right place.
Whether you’re holding your typed-out manuscript in your hands or you have already invested in having your cover professionally designed and your interior professionally typeset, I’m here to guide you all the way to the finish line.
I am based in Cape Town, South Africa, and work with indie authors all over the world to get their books published on online retailers like Amazon, as well as make them available in bookshops all over the world.
Before we get started, there are a couple of things that need to be in place first:
Once those are in place, I take care of everything else, working with you to:
My fee to guide you through the publishing process and then list and publish your book ranges from R2250 to R4900, depending on which platforms you would like to publish on, in which formats you would like to publish (e.g. e-book, paperback, or both), how wide you want your reach to be, and, if you’re publishing on Amazon, whether you want A+ Content added to your book’s product page.
For example, you might only want to make your paperback and e-book available to Amazon customers, or you might want to make your book available on as many platforms as possible – or you might want to sit somewhere in the middle. My advice is to go as wide as possible (Publishing Package #10) or, one better, Publishing Package 11 if you’d like to add additional marketing material to your book’s product page, but if your budget is limited, I would suggest Publishing Package #3 (Amazon only). You can always publish on the other platforms later (and even add A+ Content), when finances allow.
You can choose from one of the following self-publishing packages:
A+ Content is afeature on Amazon that allows you to showcase your book with stunning images and call-outs that can help boost your sales.
All you’ll need to do is provide me with a set of customised banners and content blocks unique to your book, which your book cover designer should be able to create for you (I’ll explain how it all works and send you the specs). Once you’ve sent me the images, I’ll be able to set up the A+ Content section of your book’s product page for you.
If you’d like to take a look at what adding A+ Content to your book’s page might look like, here is a lovely example (which you can also view by clicking here):
If you’re unsure of which platforms to publish on, please visit my Self-Publishing page, which will explain everything in more detail.
If this is all a bit too mind-boggling to absorb and you’re looking for more detailed guidance, we can set up an online publishing consultation to explore all your burning questions and determine the best way forward. You can book an online publishing consultation with me here.
